1. Reach a day before the event!
Reach a day before to the shoot location. Experience the city, roam around and research, shoot B- Rolls, Try to add some local elements in your shoot. Like if you are shooting in Rajasthan you can add Rajasthani Turban in your shoot. This will give you a new touch to your Films.
2. Hire a Local Guide.
Hire a local and give him some tip, trust me he will show you the finest location of the cities. Explain him that we are not looking for too much touristy spots, we want something unique and undiscovered places.
3. Use Changing Tent!
Changing clothes in tent will save lots of time. You don’t need to go back to your hotel to change clothes and again go to a new location. Instead you can go to your new destination directly after changing clothes in tent. You can buy a good tent in just 3000–4000(INR)
4. Pre-Planning.
Pre-Planning is the most important thing. Discuss your concept – outfits – ideas – locations with your couple. This will help you to break the ice. They will feel comfortable. You can also create a Whatsapp group for the same.
5. Reflector.
Undoubtedly lighting is one of the most important part of any cinematic film. Even when there’s soft light everywhere, reflector can add some more lights on the subject and it distinguishes the subject from the background.
6. Props.
Add props to your film. Props like Firecrackers, scarfs, glasses, hats. This will make your films more eye pleasant.
7. Use Bluetooth Speaker.
While shooting, play some romantic – funky tracks, it will create a pleasant mood to shoot for the couple and for the photographer too! 😀
